Pros and Cons of being a job consultant

There is no one  other than me who can  perfectly tell the pros and cons of being a job consultant. Since am in this profession since 2008 , I have faced most of its aspects.

Let me start with its negative aspects first:

  • Don't ever think that you have a personal life, candidates can call you even 1 at night or 4 in the morning.
  • Since your mobile number is easily available  on net you should have skills to fight with idiotic callers.
  • you can expect the most idiotic calls like why they have your number saved in their mobile, asking for your age, and others.
  • Many would call you without any purpose so be patient.
  • candidates can make n number of excuse, if they don't want to go for any job or interview. Most of all famous is " Mam, meri wife bimar hai or she has been hospitalized".
  • you should have one more number to track candidates who can lost after giving interview.
  • Once you hang up someone's phone, they will call you again and again until you scold them tightly.
  • Whether you have or not but your friends/relatives/near and dear ones will think that you are the only one who can help them in getting jobs.

You people will surprised to know my number is also known by my native police as I have to call them so many times about unwanted calls.

Positive aspects

  • people will respect you as you can land them in getting good jobs.
  • people will call you for counselling.
  • its better to do something than doing nothing. :P
  • there are many idiotic as well as funny candidates you can come across( will soon update about some of my exp also.)
