Job Description for General  Manager (Export ) Sesame, Turmeric, Ginger , RCN, Cocoa, Coffee.
International & Domestic experience in Country Management, Global Supply Chain Management, B2B and B2C Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Brand Management, Business Development and General Management across consumer products, agricultural commodities & food products. Successfully built relationships across stakeholders, created and executed market entry strategies, built, sustainable & scalable Global business through multi-cultural teams.
Key deliverables:
ð  Country Management: P&L management,Pricing Strategies, Accounting, Budget preparation & variance monitoring, Mark to Market (M2M) and BRM for the markets. Internal & External Stakeholders Management
ð  Strategy Formulation & Execution of Strategy – Developing Business Model, Running successful pilots with hypothesis setting and executing business strategy. Identifying HOT SPOTS and where to play “BIG BETS”.
ð  Global Supply Chain Management in B2B & B2C Segment: Global Sourcing, Processing- Logistics- Warehousing & Distribution. Identifying profit pools and capturing values within Supply chain.
ð  Brand Management: Developing Brand in B2B & B2C Food Space (NuPro & Fine Grade) through Consumer and Channel in sighting, developing RTB for Consumers through consumer researches.
ð  Global Operations, Commercial & MIS: Networking with financially reliable channel partners, resulting in deeper market penetration. Evaluating performance & monitoring distributor performance.
ð  Risk Management: Deciding Risk limits/ exposure/hedging on Exchange/ with key players / underwriters credit approvals with financing of trading activities like L/C, CAD, DA, etc.. Identifying key levers for business growth and setting direction to Scale and sustain business growth.
ð  Relationship Management: Mapping client’s requirement, identifying improvement areas & implementing measures to maximize satisfaction levels. Ensuring continuous interaction with the customers to make sure that area of concern can be worked upon for improved service levels.
ð  Team Management: Recruiting, mentoring, training and development of the field functionaries to ensure the sales and operational efficiency. Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team members. Running REWARD & RECOGNITION programs for employees and retention of “HIPOT” members.
ð  Developing Systems & Process – putting in place key systems (SAP) and processes for effective business operations. Putting certain KAIZEN, MQS and TQM systems in place for controls on quality of work.
ð  Education :
ð   MBA from a top tier B-School and Economics graduate from one of the top colleges in India
ð  Must have  experience in Commodity Trading & Supply Chain Management with leading Multinationals in India and Africa
ð  Proficiencies – Commodity Trading, Supply Chain Management, Position Management, Risk Management, Value Chain Analysis
ð  In-depth understanding of value chain of agri-commodities
ð  Location : Lagos ( Family Status)
